I have had a very long love-affair with all thing's global mobility, starting my career in this area way back in the early 1990s. Initially working in-house managing international moves I have subsequently had the chance to work with a wide range of organisations as a GM Consultant. Every project brings new challenges, exciting opportunities and each day I continue to build on my experience.

A more detailed description of my journey
I started my GM journey with a FTSE100 manufacturing business – as part of a small team managing every aspect of the moves in over 45 different countries.
Whilst a great baseline start, I felt I wanted to expand my GM repertoire, experience different organisations and industries, so I left that role to join a major professional services firm as a client-facing consultant, taking the opportunity some years later to move on and work as an independent advisor.
Over the years as a consultant, I have been fortunate enough to work with an amazing cross section of companies – in industries such as financial and professional services; manufacturing; legal; pharmaceutical, telecommunications and media – among others. The projects have also been diverse – from “traditional” policy reviews; process re-engineering; technology implementations; compensation transformations and training (to categorise just a few). I’m a finisher, so enjoy the whole process of seeing a project successfully through to fruition.
I started working with K2 in 2015, having learnt about the organisation from previous work colleagues. I feel fortunate to have been with K2 through the last 10 years and seen, and participated in, the company’s development. I thoroughly enjoy working with this best-in-class organisation, where service excellence, collaboration, a sound team environment and enjoyment remain key.
My love of lists, spreadsheets and engaging with people has also led me to take the lead in project managing, in particular onboarding some of K2’s key (and complex) clients. I continue to seek appropriate solutions for our clients, with a strong focus on the relevant strategic approaches and change management efficiencies.
