From 4th – 8th September, Henry Dunn, a Matt Hampson Foundation beneficiary, spent an incredibly busy week at K255, K2’s UK Office, as part of a work experience opportunity.

In November 2022, Henry suffered an injury which resulted in the amputation of his lower left arm. Shortly after he arrived at K255, he sat down with Dan Hipkiss, Head of Learning and Development at the Matt Hampson Foundation, to talk about a) getting back into work after suffering a life-changing injury, and b) the value of work experience opportunities which see you getting fully involved with the day-to-day activities of a company.

“This experience has provided me with exposure to a range of roles which I never knew even existed! I was happy to have the opportunity to use my own experiences to benefit others – to share life lessons learned through trauma, and explain how I apply them to my behaviour in the workplace. Everyone can use these lessons to create change and focus in their own lives.”
