K2 USA are running a virtual roundtable series, titled Virtual Assignment Strategies. For an introduction to the series, please read our previous articles, Session 1, and Session 2.

For the third virtual roundtable within Virtual Assignment Strategies, the session aimed to evaluate some applied learnings of virtual assignments and focus specifically on the details involved with the evaluation process of these assignments.

Within this session the group discusses why evaluating of adjustments or adaptions for virtual assignments are being addressed, who is typically involved in the evaluation and presentation of results, tips and recommendations for evaluating virtual assignment options, whether global experience can be matched and how this is addressed, and what considerations are involved when evaluating talent management impacts.

The session was led and facilitated by Brad Shepard, who was joined by Tracy Figliola, Senior Director Global Mobility & Immigration (Equinix), Patricia Tavares, Global Mobility Lead Americas (Unilever) and other mobility leaders to enable a in depth discussion across various market sectors.
