Houston, April, 2021 ― following increased business growth in Latin America (LATAM) K2 have responded to client needs and have opened a new entity in Sao Paulo Brazil. This will enable K2 to best support client operations in LATAM from a position that is local.

Phil Hunt, MD of Americas commented on this new opening:

“In keeping with our commitment to servicing our customers there is nothing better than regional and local knowledge.  As we continue to witness growth at K2, LATAM has become one of the focal points with increasing clients and demand in that region.  Having the right expertise, cultural awareness and understanding is at the core of our culture which is why opening this office brings with it such promise.  This is an amazing opportunity for K2 and one that I am looking forward to see flourish over the coming years…!”

K2’s new entity in Brazil will operate dedicated services for clients based in LATAM, with the aim of providing additional, local expertise for those clients who work in this region. This new opening comes as a result of increasing clients needs and relocation assistance in the region.

Due to the complexity of LATAM relocations, it is important that K2 appointed the right expertise to lead this new chapter. K2 therefore are welcoming Patricia Tavares as a new country director, to support the new opening.  Patricia brings to K2 extensive regional expertise from senior positions throughout LATAM, having worked for the past 25 years in the financial and consumer goods sector.

Patricia commented on her new appointment:

“I am very excited to be part of this new K2 journey. LATAM is a very promising region and is continuously growing. Countries are becoming more and more important for multinationals and local business is growing very fast. This brings and takes a lot of talent from the region, and that is one of the reasons why it is important to have local presence and expertise.”
