International Women’s Day Special featuring Vicki Sewrey and Hannah Dance
For the latest episode of K2’s Personally Speaking podcast, special guest host and Client Account Manager Vicki Sewrey is joined by Hannah Dance, Head of European Operations, for an International Women’s Day special. They reflect on Hannah’s journey at K2 and the impact of this year’s theme, “Give to Gain.”
During the episode, Vicki explores Hannah’s growth throughout her 10 years at K2. Hannah explains how her role within operations developed far beyond logistics, highlighting the importance of empathy, emotional intelligence and strategic thinking when supporting families and individuals through their relocation journeys. She shares that her proudest achievements include progressing from Relocation Manager to Head of Operations, becoming a mum and a wife, and learning to embrace being more human in her leadership – mistakes and all – seeing them as opportunities to grow.
Vicki asks a heartfelt question: “What do you see the women you work with doing that truly makes a difference?” Hannah reflects on the leadership qualities women bring to operations, explaining how empathy adds value and goes far beyond process‑driven work.
The pair also discuss this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” and Hannah reflects on the women who have supported and shaped her career. She explains how giving encouragement, support and time to others creates a positive environment across K2.
As the episode draws to a close, Vicki and Hannah discuss comfort zones and the importance of pushing past them. They explain how those uneasy feelings often signal growth, and how stepping beyond what feels familiar is essential for personal and professional development.
This International Women’s Day special offers an honest and uplifting conversation, celebrating the women who make a difference across K2 and highlighting the true meaning behind “Give to Gain.”
