I joined K2’s finance team in 2012, having spent time in both the commercial and financial sectors. This was the beginning of a career with a company that I quickly grew to love. With K2 still in its early years, I had the unique opportunity to grow alongside the business and seamlessly move into the world of Relocation Accounting.
Understanding the benefits of this service, and how our systems can support our clients’ requirements, has enabled me to take a lead role in the development of the function, alongside building a strong team of service focused individuals. During my time at K2, my role has changed significantly.
Supported by innovative, vision-oriented leaders, who see people as the driver of business success, I have felt empowered to continuously challenge myself, step out of my comfort zone and find ways to bring new ideas to life.
Through having the opportunity to support the implementation of many unique and complex engagements, I have gained insight into the numerous challenges experienced by our clients and their assignees experience, which in turn has enabled me to develop solutions to overcome those.
K2 is its people, and I am immensely proud of all that we have achieved as a business, all that my team are able to deliver, and my own continued growth, in both a leadership and personal capacity.
K2 keeps its core values and commitment to service excellence at the forefront of its expansion; something that is no mean feat in such a competitive market.
