Meet Renee, Country Manager, China
I am an experienced global mobility professional, with a Human Resources major and English language proficiency. I have been working in the mobility industry for the last 15 years, during which time I have transitioned from a Destination Service Provider to a seasoned global assignment management consultant at some of the sector’s largest RMCs.
I have managed moves across the APAC region at all levels, ranging from junior engineers/executives, right up to the senior leadership population, working with clients from a broad mix of industries, including banking, finance, manufacturing, gas & oil and renewable energy.

A more detailed description of my journey
After managing internal assignments for various accounts over the last decade, I was looking for a new challenge; one that would support career development and personal growth, whilst enabling me to utilise my vast mobility experience and knowledge.
K2 offered the perfect opportunity – to take on the role as Country Manager for the new office in Shanghai, and lead on setting up the local operations team there alongside supporting clients’ regional requirements.
Having had the chance to interview in person, it was quickly obvious to me that K2’s management style, and the way they treat clients, employees and customers (AKA the ‘K2 Way’) aligned with my values, and was a good match for my skills and experience.
There is no better place than K2 for me to start my next chapter. With my industry experience and knowledge, alongside my understanding of local nuances, I am confident I will make a positive contribution to the local operation set up and team development in Shanghai.
