Currently stocked with 50 ‘books’, each one a webpage dedicated to one of K2’s people, K2 Who presents you with stories of a different kind…

On each individual’s webpage, you’ll find a succinct introduction to who they are, a detailed description of their journey, an overview of their areas of expertise, and a photo album/visual gallery of talking points. You’ll also see an option to arrange a call with the individual, giving you the opportunity to learn more both about and from them: “We are dedicated to improving global mobility for all. We believe that progress comes from learning about one another, hearing about experiences and discussing future plans. The people in our Human Library are ready to share their knowledge.” James Marshall, Global Marketing Director

So who exactly do you have the opportunity to connect with? We’ve got Jo Wakeham, Group Managing Director, who has over 30 years’ industry experience: Jo has held senior positions at some of the world’s largest RMCs, overseeing big teams and complex global engagements. Then there’s Mike Kennedy, Chief Technology Officer, who has lived in five countries across four continents, working for a wide range of organisations from start-ups through to software houses and investment banks, managing global system rollouts, infrastructure transformation projects, and critical support and incident response teams.

We’ve also got Taryn Whitfield, Global Mobility and HR Advisory, whose understanding of the challenges organisations face when navigating the world of global mobility is next to none, developed over decades of managing global programmes through corporate inhouse roles. Moving on from Advisory, if Immigration’s the area that you really want to get your head into, then we’ve got David Snowling, Head of Global Immigration Services, who has a wealth of leadership experience spanning cross-border activity, significant organisational change strategy, and international assignment and relocation programmes. David understands the critical importance of close interaction between Immigration and Relocation Management teams, as this makes possible a truly seamless flow of services from the beginning to the end of an engagement.

Jo, Mike, Taryn and David are just a few of the K2 people who populate our Human Library.

The K2 brand of global mobility is personal and human-centric. We want to build a relationship with the people we work with, and K2 Who, which introduces the individuals behind the service that we provide, is one of the ways in which we strive to do this.
