On Tuesday 23rd July, K2 South Africa’s Johannesburg team hosted a Global Mobility Roundtable event in partnership with Destination Services Partner Meryn Pringle, from Tantor Development.
They welcomed Global Mobility professionals from across a wide range of industries, inviting them to participate in an interactive session exploring current mobility challenges.
The event, which took place at WeWork, Rosebank, provided those present with an opportunity to engage in informative discussions over the course of the morning, covering topics such as the current housing market in South Africa, and the need for GM teams to adapt in an ever-changing mobility landscape.
After the session, attendees were invited to stay for a coffee and connect with other mobility professionals.
K2 Client Development Executive, Eden Roux, who led on the organisation of the event, comments:
“We’d like to thank all our guests for their participation. It’s always so valuable to hear from those who are living and breathing all things GM, and experiencing sector challenges first-hand. Conversations were insightful and solution-driven, and we hope that everyone who came was able to take something practical away that could be applied in their role.
As well as facilitating knowledge-sharing, the event offered a chance for networking and building peer relationships, something we know that both our clients and partners appreciate.
We’re already looking forward to the next roundtable event, which we’re planning to hold in November. During this event, we’ll be tackling the topic of immigration and the Trusted Employer Scheme.”
