As part of our commitment to maintaining the compliance of our supply chain, we have asked our partners to sign up to the EcoVadis programme.
Through this programme, partners are assessed on their actions within the following areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. But why are we so focused on this area of our business, and how do our partners feel about the commitment that we have asked them to make?
Over the next five weeks, we will be releasing a film series titled Compliance Conversations. The series will explore the above two questions, with members of K2’s ESG & Compliance team, its Supply Chain team, and its partner network providing valuable insight and sharing first-hand experience. Today, we are delighted to share with you the first film in the series, in which K2’s Linda Rafferty, Global Head of Compliance & ESG, and Gavin Carruthers, Partner Relationship Lead – Europe, introduce EcoVadis and discuss some of the obstacles that might discourage partners from signing up to the EcoVadis programme.
Currently, 83 of K2 partners, which equates to 56.46% of our top spending partners, have signed up to the EcoVadis programme. As we move through the second half of the year, K2 will continue to support its partners with their individual compliance journey, offering guidance, sharing knowledge and running targeted webinars.
