Meet Phil, our Managing Director - K2 Americas
I joined K2 with over a decade of industry experience. Having been at K2 since 2008, I have seen huge change, growth and development within the company over this time.
After coming on board as a Client Relationship Manager, I worked through each facet of the business, enabling me to gain a solid understanding not only of K2 as a business, from an operational perspective, but also of the company culture and DNA.
Since relocating to Houston from the UK and taking on the role as Managing Director of the Americas region, my focus has been on ensuring continued positive growth in this market, indentifying and taking up key opportunities as they arise, as well as working with clients to add real value to their global mobility programmes.

A more detailed description of my journey
I was already familiar with K2 before taking on my first role here. Having been one of their suppliers, pretty much at the outset, I was connected with the company from inception and saw how the business was beginning to develop.
I’ve worked very closely with K2’s CEO, Nick Plummer [link to page], over the years and have been on the journey with him, experiencing the highs and lows of running a small business, and seeing the transformation of K2 from underdog to market disruptor, before evolving into the business we are today.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have been a part of the development of the global K2 business. From increasing our global footprint, to expanding the scope of our service offering, and onboarding new clients, I’ve witnessed, and supported, major growth in my time at K2, and am sure there will be plenty more to come.
At K2 we never rest on our laurels. Instead, we continue to strive for growth without compromise. This growth is centred around innovation and continued service excellence, delivered by highly experienced K2 teams around the world.
