In March, K2 was recertified globally as a Great Place To Work®, with our survey results showing that we have a strong culture defined by teamwork, innovation, and going above and beyond to get the job done. In May, we earned a place on the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development list, an exclusive list produced annually by Great Place To Work® (GPTW). This month, we are delighted to announce that we have been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™, another exclusive GPTW list.

The UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list focuses on employees’ holistic experiences of wellbeing at work, including their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, social support, job satisfaction, and financial security. It recognises companies that are committed to creating a consistently and overwhelmingly positive employee experience, fostering the type of culture which has been proven to drive business, improve lives, and better society.
To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, Great Place To Work® reviewed each participating company’s culture, benefits, approach to leadership, and approach to development, alongside anonymous responses from their employees. They then used these data insights to benchmark each company’s employee value proposition against the culture that their employees actually experience. The businesses who achieved the highest scores secured a place on the list.
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, states that
“a thriving workplace culture is rooted in trust, pride, camaraderie, and a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing. As we mark the fourth year of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, we’re proud to celebrate organisations that go above and beyond to support their people’s mental, physical, financial, and social health. When employees feel truly valued and supported, they’re not only healthier – they’re also more energised, motivated and aligned with their organisation’s goals.”

K2’s survey results show that 87% of our people feel that ‘I make a difference here’, and 89% ‘look forward to coming to work here’. Furthermore, 91% feel that ‘I can be myself here’, and 95% believe that ‘people care about each other here’. These results provide convincing evidence that K2 has created a culture and an environment which promotes and protects its people’s wellbeing.
