Meet David, Head of Global Immigration Services
A Global Mobility professional with over 20 years of Financial Services industry experience, I joined K2 in October 2022 following a 14-year period with AIG.
During my time with AIG, I held a number of positions, including the role of Global Mobility Partner for Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. As a Global Mobility Partner, in additional to having overall responsibility for all cross-border activity, including immigration and tax compliance across EMEA and APAC regions, I also supported the development of a significant organisational change strategy, as well as leading their international assignment and relocation programmes.

I have a clear understanding of the challenges that mobility leaders face and particularly the risks and opportunities around compliance and operational efficiencies.
I am well positioned to support active and prospective client initiatives, with a clear view of best practice as it relates to service structure, technology enablement, cost containment and operational efficiencies.
Given my broader exposure to wider mobility elements, I understand the relevance of close interaction between immigration and Relocation Management to ensure a high-quality experience for both mobile employees and GM teams, with a seamless flow of services from beginning to end – something that K2 prides itself on.
I joined the K2 Family in October 2022 as Head of Global Immigration Services. Since then, K2’s immigration services have continued to go from strength to strength. Driven by the overarching aim of supporting the Kinetic business strategy, our immigration business is seeing sustained growth through increased activity.
This has led to the expansion of our immigration footprint in Brazil, enabling us to better support our clients’ South American business by providing global capability and local expertise alongside an understanding of cultural nuances across the region.
During my time at K2, in addition to implementing immigration management services in LatAm, I have overseen the development of enhanced reporting functionality which has helped to further bolster our immigration technology offering.
K2’s global immigration business is a critical business within our professional services offering and therefore there is close partnership between our advisory, assignment management, tax, and immigration teams as we continue to build and provide these suites of services to our clients.
