Hosted by Client Development Executive, Eden Roux, who is based in Johannesburg, the series will feature experts from the global K2 business, presenting on topics, and addressing issues, relevant to businesses within the Africa region.

On the idea behind the series, Eden comments:

“We wanted to create a new webinar series that focuses specifically on what matters to HR and Global Mobility professionals across Africa.

We are very fortunate to have a breadth of talented, experienced individuals within the global K2 Family. By engaging some of these stakeholders from across different departments of K2, we hope to be able to offer value to attendees, through tapping into subject matter expertise and creating tailored content that speaks to regionally relevant issues and supports attendees to find solutions to challenges.”

The first session will take place on 7th November, and will see Head of Global Mobility Advisory, Taryn Whitfield leading an interactive discussion on Global Mobility Trends & Policy Review.

Eden continues:

“I’m delighted to be joined by Taryn Whitfield for the first session. Taryn, who leads K2’s Global Mobility Advisory Team, hails from South Africa, and has almost three decades of GM experience.

During the webinar, she will be sharing key insights and facilitating a discussion about mobility policy, current trends, and some of the advances we’re seeing in the market. Taryn will also discuss approach to policy review and development, factors in reviewing and designing effective policies, the value of benchmarking, considerations for implementing change, and key emerging trends.”

Talking a little about the format of the session, Eden adds:

“This will be an interactive session and attendees will be encouraged to share their own experience, including what works well and some of the challenges they’ve faced.

We know how valuable the opportunity to ask questions and take part in a two-way discussion is, and we hope that this webinar will help us to create an environment for open dialogue, one which will help us to build an online community over the course of the series.”
