Accompanied by Samiya Hirji from sustainability assessment company EcoVadis, K2 CEO Nick Plummer attended a special event at Claridge’s on Sunday 5th June.
As a proud supporter of Her Majesty The Queen: The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album, K2 were invited by the SJH Group to attend the official book launch and book signing, as part of the four-day Jubilee festivities.
Produced by publisher St James’s House and written by royal authors Robert Jobson and Katie Nicholl, with contributions by Tom Parker Bowles, Her Majesty The Queen: The Official Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commemorative Album is the only official book published for the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, and provides a unique window into Her Majesty’s seven decades on the throne.
Guests at the event were treated to an afternoon tea, with a live screening of the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, followed by an evening reception in the elegant art deco ballroom of Claridge’s hotel in Mayfair.
Nick comments:
“It was a real honour to be invited to such a memorable event, to mark The Queen’s incredible 70-year reign, and to cement our involvement in this project.
It was a pleasure also to be able to attend with our partners, EcoVadis, who we are working closely with on our ongoing sustainability journey.
ESG and sustainability are key to the future of K2 and will continue to be a priority focus throughout this, our 20th birthday year, during the delivery of our five-year Kinetic plan, and as part of our longer term strategy.
We know how important our valued partnerships will be as we work towards our ambitious ESG and sustainability goals and endeavour to drive meaningful, industrywide change.”
