K2 USA recently took part in their latest CSR initiative, the Hess Corporate 5K, raising additional funds for their CSR partner, St Jude — a research hospital that helps battle childhood cancer. The event sets itself to be the biggest office party in the city and takes place over three days at Memorial Park in Houston.
A proportion of all registration and sponsorship proceeds from signing up to this event is donated to Memorial Park Conservancy, a charity dedicated to restoring, preserving and enhancing the park. Since 2017, Hess Corporate 5K has raised almost $150,000.
Although K2 USA have participated in a multitude of CSR events throughout the year, they would like the Hess Corporate 5K to become an annual tradition.
The team set themselves an ambitious target of $2500 which, with a huge amount of support, they were able to outdo this and ended up raising $6000. Congratulations to everyone involved!
