K2 Client Account Manager, and series host, Christine Burton, says a big K2 Houston ‘Welcome y’all!’ as she introduces the latest K2 Sidewalk Talks episode and her guest, Regional Account Manager, Magisel Rivera-Ramos.
A series of talk-show style videos designed to showcase the people and personalities behind the K2 brand, K2 Sidewalk Talks, the stateside sister of K2 Fireside Talks, launched earlier this year, with a pilot episode which saw Christine taking up the mantle as host for the first time.
In this, the second episode in the series, Christine is joined by her K2 Houston colleague, Magisel, to talk about all things Account Management and client experience.
Magisel, who not only holds an Account Management position, but is also a Client Service Operational Lead (CSOL), has been with K2 since 2020. She joined the organisation as a Client Services Consultant, after a friend who had started with the company earlier that year suggested she would be a good fit for the role.
As well as talking a little about what each of her current job roles entail, Magisel tells Christine about her professional background, the journey that has led her to where she is at K2 today, and the challenges she faced as a new hire during the height of the pandemic.
As the pair start to delve a bit deeper into the role of an Account Manager, a key theme for the episode emerges: the importance of relationships. Not just the relationships between clients and Account Managers, but the relationship between a manager and their team, and those between the K2 team and the vendors that form our partner network.
In response to a question around what client experience means to her, Magisel reflects that it is a willingness to go above and beyond for a client, and a commitment to ensuring that they feel fully supported at all times, that she feels are crucial to providing the type of positive client experience that K2 prides itself on offering across the global business.
The episode closes with Magisel telling Christine about the people who inspire her, both inside and outside the organisation, and the pair discussing the unique culture that makes them both proud to be a part of the K2 Family.
