Having been recertified globally as a Great Place To Work® in March, recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development in May, and celebrated as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women in August, we are now proud to announce that K2 has earned a place on the UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ List.
To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ List, Great Place To Work® analysed the anonymous responses to their 2024/25 workplace survey, focussing on employees’ lived experience of working for companies within the consulting and professional services sphere – e.g. legal services, management consultancy, engineering, marketing and advertising, telecoms, real estate, recruitment, travel management, and of course relocation management. They then benchmarked each company’s employee value proposition against the culture that its employees actually experience on a daily basis. The companies that achieved the highest scores secured a place on the list.
Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, states that
“employees in consulting and professional services are under increasing pressure to perform amidst digital transformation and shifting client expectations reshaping how people work. The top-performing workplaces in this sector stand out by actively supporting their employees through change. Employees have shared with us that clear, consistent communication from leadership, and a focus on inclusive decision-making, have helped them to feel supported, informed, and empowered”.

‘Because it’s personal’, the K2 ethos, applies to K2 team members just as much as it applies to our clients and their assignees. As we embrace digital transformation, we empower our team members to talk to us constantly about what they are experiencing – what is creating greater efficiencies for them, what are they struggling to adapt to, what does their lived experience tell them that we should change going forward…? At K2, employee communication with leadership isn’t limited to an anonymous yearly survey; through our intranet, our regional town halls, our Executive Leadership Team, and our open, collegial culture combined with our relatively flat hierarchy, team members are able to share their experience and their ideas with both leadership and the global K2 community at their convenience.
