K2’s Immigration Services have grown ten-fold since the inception of Kinetic, our five-year business plan.
In October 2022, we welcomed David Snowling as our Global Head of Immigration, and he has been overseeing the developments of our immigration offerings worldwide. Finding answers to two key questions has guided this growth: what regions need a bigger K2 Immigration presence, and what can we do to make it happen?
David explains the challenges K2 once faced with Immigration in the Americas:
“Through client operations within the LATAM region, there became a point where directing our Immigration services from the US was not meeting our K2 standards of quality. Challenges such as not being familiar with the native languages, skillsets and cultures of the South American countries quickly highlighted to us how important it was to grow our Immigration Team to embed them into that region first-hand.”
Carolina joined K2 in April 2023, and has quickly immersed herself into K2: “At K2, we work with our heart. We work with more empathy, showcased not only in how we work with our clients but how we work with our colleagues. The team have been so welcoming over the past five months, I’ve gotten to know everybody so well that it already feels like I’ve been here five years!”
For K2, the Americas are in fact the second biggest client base. It’s crucial then to anticipate what is coming next for Immigration in that region. Carolina expands upon future plans: “To put it briefly, we are looking to integrate the immigration and relocations services for our local LATAM clients. Reviewing the local client base and making sure that their relocation package has as much support as possible is what K2 is all about. With this structure, immigration in this region has so much potential.”
It is only natural then that as our services continue to grow, the support K2 has for its departments grows with it. Having the latest, most efficient technology is fundamental to how K2 operates, and Immigration are working closely with the IT Department to ensure that there is the right technology in place to address our client’s needs.
Discussing what the future holds of K2 Immigration neatly wraps up the interview. David answers: “Growth. It’s happening right now…the wheels are in motion, we’re widening our scope across more locations, expanding our services with relocation for example, there’s no sign of slowing down. But equally as important is keeping what we have on track, and not losing the quality of service we deliver in favour of the quantity we can have. Maintaining balance – I have no doubt that we will achieve that, as we develop as a team and as a company.”
