For the latest episode in K2’s Fireside Talks series, APAC Partner Relationship Manager, Maya Abdolah, who is based in Singapore, was joined by K2 China’s first employee, Renee Wu, to talk about K2’s latest office opening.
Renee, who has taken on the position of Country Manager, China, will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of K2’s newly opened Shanghai office. As part of her induction upon joining the business, Renee spent some time with the team in Singapore to get up to speed with all things K2, covering everything from operational processes to our unique company culture.
Before returning to China, Renee sat down with Maya, K2 Singapore’s Fireside Talks host, to offer some insight into the journey that lies ahead, for both herself and the business, following K2’s exciting regional expansion.
Renee and Maya kick the episode off by talking a little about Renee’s background, and her immediate objectives for the coming months. The pair go on to discuss Chinese business culture and local GM trends, before Maya asks Renee’s thoughts on what makes a good leader and on the key components of service excellence.
